Ajith Kamath has 25+ years of preclinical drug discovery experience, primarily at Pfizer Worldwide R&D, USA. Ajith obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science and carried out postdoctoral studies at the Univ. of Texas - Austin and Stanford University. Ajith joined Pfizer's R&D center in Groton, CT and Cambridge, MA and worked there for 13+ years as an Associate Director. After 20 years in the US, he returned to India and served as Sr. V.P. at Jubilant Bios, for four years. Ajith rejoined Pfizer as the Head of External R&D Innovation, Worldwide R&D, Pfizer, India and successfully initiated collaborations with Indian pharma companies and academia. His team contributed to two drugs - one in the market and one is in the clinical trial.

Rajan Sriraman has done his masters from MS University Baroda, PhD from Tata Energy Research Institute, Delhi. He did his post-doctoral training at the Technical University of Aachen, Germany. He has been working in vaccines R&D for the past 16 years in different organizations and roles in India, and Germany. He was part of the team that developed the world's first Typhoid-CRM197 conjugate vaccine. He played a pivotal role in the development of Pneumococcal conjugate vaccines, Hepatitis-A and Measles Vaccines in his long career. He has extensive knowledge of the HPV vaccine. He was trained at NIH on pseudo-virus neutralization assays and has supervised several Masters and PhD theses on this topic. Rajan has authored 24 peer-reviewed papers in international journals. He has filed over 14 patents in recombinant protein expressions and vaccine technology. He has also authored two book chapters. Rajan is currently heading the Vaccines R&D at Reliance Life Sciences, Mumbai.
