The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. It was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020). In 2012, IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.
The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the Teaching Assistant post purely on temporary and contractual basis.
The incumbent is expected to assist in course development for the faculty in the department of science education. It involves, creating lesson plans, preparing slides, graphics, writing lecture notes, recording audio-video resources, attending scheduled classes, evaluating examination scripts from time to time.

Qualification
M.A / M.Sc / Masters in Science / Mathematics / Education.
Experience
Experience in Education Research as evidenced in a thes is project. Familiarity with cognitive / learning sciences literature will be preferred.
